Event Description
This tasting will introduce you to the key wine regions and wine styles of Spain and Portugal.
You'll learn how to read a Spanish wine label and get to taste wines made from classic Spanish grapes such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Monastrell, Viura, Verdejo and Albarino. We will introduce you to key Spanish wine regions including Galicia, Duero Valley, Ebro Valley inc Rioja, Catalunya, Valencia and Murcia.
You'll learn how to read a Portugese wine label and get to taste wines made from classic grapes such as Alvarinho, Arinto, Encruzado, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz / Aragonez, Baga and Jaen. We will introduce you to key Portugese wine regions including Vinho Verde, Duoro, Bairrada and Alentejo.
