Rioja has a proud history of winemaking and fantastic global awareness of it's smooth red wines all around the world.
This tasting will introduce you to this famous wine region and its diverse wine styles that it produces. We'll cover the history of Rioja, subzones, villages, key grapes, the best vintages, food pairing tips and producers to look out for (new and traditional).
Six delicious Rioja wines on tasting (one white and five red) will include:
- A white Rioja
- Generico (young style)
- Crianza
- Village level wine
- Reserva
- Gran Reserva
