Event Description
With Christmas on the horizon, we thought it was time for a tasting of the best spirits that will be a great addition to your drinks cupboard ahead of the festive season.
Join us as we explore the culture and history behind the classic spirits on the market. Form the classic Cognac of France, to the deep and rich rums of the Caribbean; the earthy, fiery warmth of Whisky to the sweet, soothing taste of Bourbon. We'll explore the ingredients involved, the production techniques that create such unique flavours and, of course, look at some wonderful cocktail ideas so that you can show off your bar skills!
The event will include a tasting of six superb spirits from around the world. Examples of spirits that have previously been used are:
• Cognac or Armagnac
• Islay, Highland or Speyside Whisky
• Bourbon or Japanese Whisky
• English or Irish Whisky
• Rum
• Gin
• Tequila or Vodka
Your tasting will include: tasting samples of six carefully selected spirits, light nibbles, full notes & handouts, a 2 hour interactive presentation, with Q&A throughout, led by our spirits expert.
