The Pinot family is huge. It hides in plain sight and is much more than just the household name of Pinot Noir or Pinot Grigio. Yet, have you ever wondered where they all came from? Or why they are imitated the world over?
Whether as blends in a sparkling wine, varietal white wines or as an ethereal red, Pinots are the wine world's power-house. In this tasting, we'll take you on a journey through the various guises that belong to the Pinot family. Think you know your Borgougne from your Oregon Pinot? Or your Gris from your Grigio? We'll explore some of the icons, the imitations and range of expressions of Pinot from around the world.
Your tasting will include: tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, full handouts and wine notes, a 2 hour interactive presentation with Q&A.
