Event Description
We talk a lot about the Old World v the New World, but what does that actually mean and how does it affect the style of the wine?
Over 3 weeks, we'll taste 9 of the most iconic, well known grapes from around the world - each time, one will be from the Old World & one from the New World.
How has the vineyard site, the climate and other influences changed the grape? Where can we find the best examples? Most importantly, which did you prefer?
8 Sept: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot
15 Sept: Riesling, Chenin Blanc, Syrah
22 Sept: Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel
A pit stop tour of a wine course where you will taste the best grapes, from the best regions globally.
