Event Description
Celebrate English Wine Week with us!
With more than 1,100 vineyards and around 240 wineries, England is producing an increasingly diverse range of high-quality wines. From refined traditional-method sparkling wines to elegant still whites, rosés and reds, there is far more to English wine than you might expect.
During the evening, you’ll discover the diversity of styles being produced across England through a guided tasting of at least six carefully selected wines. Along the way, we’ll explore what makes English wine distinctive, from our climate and vineyards to the winemaking techniques used to produce such a wide range of styles.
Whether you’re already a fan of English wine or simply curious to discover what’s being produced on our doorstep, come and raise a glass to English Wine Week.
No tasting experience is necessary — all levels of knowledge are welcome at our events.
We serve a few nibbles at our tastings to enjoy alongside the wines, but please note that these are not intended as a substantial meal.
All guests must be at least 18 years old to attend this event.
When booking, please ensure the 'quantity' in your basket matches the number of people attending (including if booking with a gift voucher).
Your booking for this event is with Hertfordshire Wine School, not the venue. If you have any questions about your booking, please contact us directly — the venue won’t be able to assist with booking-related queries.
Please note the tasting space is located on the first floor and can only be accessed via a flight of stairs, with no lift available.
