Course Description
Discover the wines of Spain and Portugal in this 3-week course. Across three evenings we’ll explore the classic regions and grape varieties that define these two fascinating wine countries, tasting at least 18 wines.
Week 1: Discover Spanish Wines – explore classic Spanish styles including Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Albariño and more, discovering the regions and grapes that make Spain one of the world’s most exciting wine destinations.
Week 2: Discover Portuguese Wines – from refreshing Vinho Verde to the rich reds of the Douro Valley, discover Portugal’s unique native grape varieties and traditional winemaking heritage.
Week 3: Out of the Ordinary – Spain & Portugal – step off the beaten path with unusual regions, lesser-known grapes and exciting modern styles from across the Iberian Peninsula.
Whether you’re new to wine or an enthusiastic wine lover, this course offers a relaxed and informative way to explore two of Europe’s most diverse wine countries.
*Each tasting can be booked individually, or save £15 by booking all three sessions together as a complete course.
