Event Description
Beaujolais always feels like a wine region needing lots of love and a warm hug.
Not as famous as its illustrious neighbour to the north - Bourgogne - or other iconic regions like Champagne, Bordeaux, Loire and the Rhone, Beaujolais is in many ways an unsung hero when it comes to well made very drinkable, high quality red wines that improve with age over a 3-10 year time frame. The wines can often be sublime and usually represent very good value.
This fine wine evening tasting will introduce you to many of the different cru appellations of the region. You'll taste your way around the crus and experience the different expressions of wine that each makes.
There will be lots of useful information to help you choose cru quality wines from Beaujolais more confidently and some artisan cheese to partner the wines.
The tasting will feature 8 different Beaujolais wines from Cru appellations.
