Event Description
We love Rioja, and we love Port, but those who confine their wine explorations of Spain and Portugal to this pair are missing out on the fascinating diversity found in other wines from both countries.
So while this tasting of at least six wines will include examples of famous names, it will also feature an array of reds and whites to demonstrate just how much diversity both countries can offer. There’ll be wines that reflect the windswept Atlantic coasts, and others that are full of Mediterranean warmth. There’ll be some familiar grapes – Tempranillo is the most widely planted variety on both sides of the border – but there’ll also be others that deserve wider recognition.
