Course Description
This 3-week wine tasting course is a great introduction to the classic wine regions of Europe. No previous wine knowledge experience is needed and it’s perfect for those who are just getting familiar with seeing certain names on wine labels – Rioja, Bordeaux, Chianti and so on – and would like to know more about what’s behind those labels.
It's a great opportunity to discover different grapes and regions of France, Spain and Italy, and to try wines that you may never have come across before.
Over the three sessions, you’ll…
- Discover how to sniff, swirl and sip like a professional
- Develop your wine vocabulary
- Learn how to decipher wine labels
- See the effects that where grapes are grown and how they’re turned into wine have on the flavour of that wine
- Experience the effects that food can have on your wine enjoyment
And more besides. Each session includes a presentation giving an overview of each country, at least 6 wines to taste, and some cheese to chew on alongside the wines. A single session costs £40, but why not book the three together and save £15?
