Wine is often a world that is dominated by the 'Big Name Grapes' - Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon. All lovely but did you know that there are little nuggets of gold to be discovered from all corners of the world? There are thousands of indigenous varieties that rarely see the light of day - let alone your taste buds.
We thought it was about time we rediscovered them and gave them the airtime they rightly deserve. We'll take a look at the hidden gems of Greece, Slovenia, Bulgaria and many more. We choose the wines each time depending on what gems we have found recently - so expect some fantastic surprises!
Your tasting will include: a tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, tasting samples of artisan cheeses, full wine notes & handouts, a 2 hour interactive presentation, with Q&A, led by our wine tutor.
