Wine Scholar Guild offers in-person and online courses that allow students to specialize (in a specific country or region(s)). WSG's certification programs are the industry standard and provide the most accurate and in-depth information on the wines of France, Italy and Spain. 

France, Italy and Spain are the top three wine-producing countries in the world. Therefore, having an in-depth understanding of these countries is critical to all wine students. In this regard, Wine Scholar Guild wine certification programs supplement and complement the study programs offered by WSET and CMS rather than replace them.

French Wine Scholar:  The French Wine Scholar® program sets the industry standard as the most in-depth and comprehensive certification program devoted entirely to the wines of French. 9 evenings / 40+ wines tasted / 18 hrs tuition /  home study revision / multiple-choice exam. 

Spanish Wine Scholar:  The Spanish Wine Scholar® program sets the industry standard as the most in-depth and comprehensive certification program devoted entirely to the wines of Spain. 9 evenings / 40+ wines tasted / 18 hrs tuition /  home study revision / multiple-choice exam. 

Italian Wine Scholar:  The Italian Wine Scholar® program sets the industry standard as the most in-depth and comprehensive certification program devoted entirely to the wines of Italy. This course runs over two units - Unit 1 covers Northern Italy and Unit 2 covers Southern Italy. For each unit: 9 evenings / 40+ wines tasted / 18 hrs tuition /  home study revision / multiple-choice exam.
