Event Description
This specialist tasting is a real treat for wine lovers.
Ask anyone working in wine which their favourite region is, and Alsace will be somewhere near the top, if not their favourite. It is perhaps one of the most unique grape growing regions in France. Protected by the Vosges Mountains, this vineyard mecca is formed from a collapsed rift valley. Over time, layers of rock and soil have been exposed giving one of the most varied terroirs in France. The result? A plethora of wine styles to suit all palates and plates.
It is also home to the highest concentration of Grand Cru vineyards in one wine region - 51 at the last count! We've selected six of the best to showcase the quality and diversity of these wines. This is a unique chance to taste some of the greatest Alsatian wines side by side.
