A taste of the Cape - South African Wine Experience with Lunch
Join us for a fantastic Saturday exploring the amazing wines of South Africa!
Whether you’re just starting to get into wine or you already know your way around a wine list, this relaxed one-day tasting at Malmaison Aberdeen is the perfect way to discover what makes the Cape winelands so special.
We’ll kick things off with a well-deserved glass of Cap Classique (South Africa's brilliant answer to Champagne). From there, we'll spend the day tasting our way through 12 more fantastic wines that really show off the country's best regions.
The Morning: We’ll start with six lovely white wines. Expect to taste some world-class, rich Chenin Blancs from Stellenbosch alongside super-fresh, zesty Sauvignon Blancs from Elgin.
Lunch Break: Around 1pm, we’ll take a break for a gorgeous three-course lunch cooked up by the Malmaison chefs. (Just let us know if you need vegetarian or vegan options when you book, and we'll get it sorted).
The Afternoon: After lunch, it’s all about the reds. We'll taste six completely different styles, exploring everything from South Africa's famous, bold Pinotage to some seriously elegant cool-climate Pinot Noirs and spicy Syrahs.
