Join us on our 4-week long discovery to the wonderful World of Wine, with a focus on the Old World! You will be spending 4 wonderful weeks alongside fellow wine lovers and taste yourself through 24 different wines along the way.
This 4-week discovery is stuctured as a practical introduction to the world of wine. It is designed for people who love wine and would like to learn a little bit more about it. You do not need any previous experience, and the emphasis is on learning by tasting different varieties of wine.
It is also a great way of finding new friends who share your love for wine.

- Wine & Food matching advice
- Storing & Serving wine advice
- Demistify wine labels - How to choose better wines in shops and restaurants
- Taste some of the world's major grape varieties - Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Riesling, Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Malbec and many others
WHAT IF I HAVE TO MISS A SESSION?
Not a problem. As long as you let us know 5 days before the session date, we can transfer you onto a subsequent 4 Week Course session, or provide you with a voucher valid for any of our Aberdeen Local Wine School courses and tastings.
If at the last minute you can't make it to the session you are more than welcome to send a substitute. The course has been designed to allow for sessions to be completed in any order, so you will not be at a disadvantage if you need to make up an evening at a later date.
