Event Description

Welcome to our latest interactive wine/beer/food pairing experience! Battle of the Burger sees YWS go head to head with Honest Burgers. We'll pair delicious fried chicken, loaded fries and piled burgers with a wine and a beer. Which will you prefer?

Our incredibly tasty and fun packed Battle of the Bao tastings have been amongst the very best events we have held in the last few years. Great food, friendly competition between the hosts, lots of laugs, banter and at the end of it all- Beer or Wine is crowned the winner! So we have taken this concept and introduced a tasty twist. We shall be pairing both a beer and a wine with several courses from our friends at Honest Burgers and let you decide which pairing is the pinnacle. 

Ever wondered if you could elevate your dirty burger experience? Dying to know what we'll pair with those Burbon BBQ Sriracha chicken wings? Want to see whether Laura will extend her winning streak and manage to crack the dilema of which you wine you want to drink with your poutine?

Trust us, beer or wine, every course is going to be a flavour sensation!

Here is our first menu, what you would drink with it?

Wings- Free-range Chicken wings with Thiccc sauce x Honest Bourbon BBQ Sriracha, pineapple tomatillo salsa, shoestring fries and spring onions

Yorkshire Apple Deli Burger- Honest beef burger with brown butter mayo, melted goats' cheese, sweet chilli jam, lettuce and julienne Yorkshire apple.
 
Poutine- Honest beef and bacon gravy, Westcombe dairy cheese curds and Honest rosemary salted chips.
 
Rumour has it there might even be a Brownie round  to finish things off!
