Join us for a topically interesting tasting comparing the classic Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc from the Loire such as Sancerre (pictured), Pouilly-Fumé and Vouvray against the New World countries offering many versatile alternatives such as Marlborough from New Zealand and South Africa. We'll also look at Fumé Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc) from California and what Chile brings to the table.
In addition we'll look at the unusual Cabernet Franc variety, at home in the Loire Valley making light, juicy and earthy wines - but does the New World do Franc better than the French?
