ONLINE TASTING: Discover North-East, East & Central Spain

Join us online as we discover the wine delights on the eastern coast & central regions of Spain. So much emphasis is given to Rioja in the UK, however regions such as Penedes, Valencia and Costers del Segre are now supplying us with fascinating wines that are high quality but also very affordable.

Penedes produces a whole host of intriguing varieties whilst the regions of Alicante and Valencia offer affordable styles using Tempranillo and Monastrell (Mourvedre in France). The tasting will also look at the emerging experimental zones of Somontano and Costers del Segre before finishing on the grand finale of Priorat (£25+), the rustic blockbuster red mainly made from Garnacha and Carinena (Carignan).

A great tasting to discover that there's more to Spanish wine than Rioja.

The Wines:

For this tasting, students will receive tasting kits with 50ml samples of the wines tasted throughout the duration of this course. 

• Tasting kit delivery can be made to anywhere within the UK. If you are interested in receiving the course tasting kits, however your delivery address is not within the UK, please get in touch BEFORE booking as depending where you are located, we may be able to still arrange delivery for an additional fee.
