Discover Spain: Galicia & Castilla y Leon
Join us as we taste a selection of fantastic wines of Green Spain, Galicia and wine from the land of Castles - Castilla y Léon in the Duero River Valley
The tasting kicks off with the great whites we can find in this great wine country. Albarino, Spain's high quality white grape variety from Rias Baixas, is the ideal place to begin before trying Godello, the other white grape from Galicia. We continue the tasting further with a crisp blast of refreshment from Pais Vasco - The Basque Country. We then try a classic Spanish white, Verdejo from Rueda before we venture into the reds from this wonderful part of Spain. Mencia from the ever more fashionable Bierzo precedes the big hitter Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero.
All tastings include; minimum of 6 wines sourced locally so you can find them easily if you like them, full tasting notes, tasting sheet, use of professional tastings glasses and nibbles.
