Event Description
Join us as we celebrate the versatility of Prosecco, the UK's most popular Sparkling Wine, synonymous with joy, celebration and 'La Dolce Vita' (the good life).
This years annual Prosecco DOC tasting promises to be a fantastic event as we explore how well Prosecco pairs with food.
UK Prosecco DOC ambassador, Neil Phillips (aka The Wine Tipster) will present eight different Prosecco wines including brut, extra dry and Rosé styles which we've paired with a range of authentic Cicchetti - Italian small plates - specially prepared by Chef Iain and his kitchen team at The Last.
The evening includes:
- A Prosecco reception with Grana Padano
- A 1st round of Cicchetti served with an Aperol Spritz
- A 2nd round of Cicchetti paired with two extra dry styles
- A 3rd round of Cichetti paired with three further Prosecco's
- A dessert duo, including Tiramisu, paired with an extra dry Rose Prosecco
During the evening Neil will present what's going in Proseccoland including:
- The rise of Prosecco cocktails
- Some of the regions leading prodcuers and the wines they make
- How to make the most of a visit to the Prosecco region - including the best places to stay and eat in Treviso
