Event Description
Join us for a long, leisurely seasonal lunch prepared using the finest fresh local produce by Chef Iain and his team at The Last paired with a selection of wines from Norfolk's Chet Valley Vineyard.
Your Sommelier and host will be our Chief Wine Tutor, Jeremy Dunn, who will be joined by John Hemmant from Chet Valley. Together they will entertain you with amusing anecdotes and stories that bring the menu and the wines to life.
Over an aperitif Jeremy will explain why we are able to make world class wines from locally grown grapes and you'll be introduced to the philosophy and wines of Chet Valley Vineyard as well as how to master the art of pairing good food and good wine.
Then you will enjoy a delicious 5-course lunch. Canapés will be followed by 3 courses and then tea or coffee. Each course will be paired perfectly with a Chet Valley vineyard wine and there will be plenty of time to ask questions about the menu, the wines and the pairings.
The menu is developed using fresh produce that's in season at the time of the lunch but it will be packed with local delicacies such as cromer crab, locally sourced and butchered meat and the finest local vegetables and cheeses.
Perfect for foodies.
