Spanish wine’s best kept secret? The south east corner of Spain will be familiar to holiday makers but how well do you know the wines from this region? The quiet revolution that is transforming Spanish wine is especially evident here. A new generation of winemaker nurturing abandoned vineyards in hidden corners of rural Spain. Their purpose? To bring to life the diversity of Spanish terroirs. Often working with little known, almost forgotten native grape varieties they are restoring old vines. Ecologically aware, these young winemakers are committed to a vision of low intervention wine making.
