If you’re wondering what wines to stock up with for Christmas without breaking the bank, join us for an evening when we’ll point out what are the smart buys for those who do lots of entertaining over the festive season. These are bottles that will cover virtually all the catering bases you’ll come across over the festive period, good enough to put on the table for your friends and relatives (and to take a cheeky sip of while cooking), but friendly on the wallet.
Expect something sparkling to set off the festivities, something sweet to go with the mince pies and Christmas pudding, and in between, still wines of various colours to make your Christmas celebrations go with a bang. So six wines in total. Actually, given it’s the season of good cheer and all that, we’ll chuck in another one for good measure to make it a Yuletide version of the Magnificent Seven.
