Event Description
We shall be exploring a range of delicious cheeses and matching them with some drinks from around the globe. We shall also talk about food and wine matching more generally, and you'll pick up some really good tips to take away and practice at home.
We will try six different cheese and drink combinations to get your taste buds tingling on a summers Saturday afternoon. Here is an example of some of the things we may try.
- Cremant with Soft cheese
- An Indian Pale Ale with a classic English Pork Pie
- A Cider with smooth Gruyere
- A cabinet sauvignon/merlot blend with a creamy Cheddar
- Port and Stilton (the classic!)
- A full bodied Chardonnay and Lancashire creamy
