Course Description
You may have seen that we’ve revamped our World of Wine Course for 2025. Rather doing a whistle-stop tour of several countries in six sessions, we’re going to linger a little longer on each, and run (probably) three different “Deeper Dive” courses over the course of the year.
If six sessions is too many, and you’d prefer to only look at the wines from France – the country that for us deserves the longest linger – this is the course for you. The schedule is as follows:
20th Feb: Deeper Dive Session 1 – Burgundy and Alsace
27th Feb: Deeper Dive Session 2 – Southern France
6th March: Deeper Dive Session 3 – The Rhône. We’ll be joined for this by Linda Field, who’s based in the Rhône and whom many of you will remember from her previous visits
13th March: Deeper Dive Session 4 – Bordeaux and the Loire
Each session by itself costs £40, but buying this combined course for £150 brings that down to £37.50 per session (if you book the full six-week course, incorporating sessions on Australia & New Zealand, that comes down to £35 per session)

We’re big fans of Rhône Valley, and we regularly feature the wines from this fascinating part of France in our tastings. And once again, we've been offered the opportunity by Inter-Rhône, the professional association of the reg...
Bordeaux is the most famous wine region in the world. Why? We’ll see if we can answer that question in this session. There’ll be reds based on the region’s two main grapes, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, and there’ll also be a...
