Event Description
Albarino is well and truly "having a moment" producing thrillingly acidic and savoury wines that are truly mouth-watering.
Join us for this unique, one-off tasting opportunity where we'll delve into the history, culture, geography, climate and wine-making tehcniques that have all helped to elevate this grape in recent years.
In the UK we can now buy wines from over 30 wine producers from Rias Baixas and the number is growing each year. This breadth means that styles range from fresh and fruity to lees aged and more complex. If you thought Albarino was all about early drinking, fresh, zippy wines - then think again!
This tasting will introduce you to six well chosen Albarino wines from different producers covering the key styles and will bring the region to life for you.
Wines on tasting:
- Pazo de Villarei Rías Baixas Albariño 2021 £10 (O Rosal)
- Lagar de Cervera Pazo de Seone Rías Baixas 2021 £14 (Salnés)
-
