Event Description
There is so much that Italy has to offer. The world's top producer has hundreds of indigenous grape varieties and a passionate regional heritage and culture.
Piedmont is home to Italy's much-revered Nebbiolo grape from the region's top two DOCGs - Barolo DOCG and Barbaresco DOCG. However, there are plenty of other gems to shout about that often go undiscovered by most wine drinkers.
We'll bring the entire region, the vineyards, winemakers and grapes alive for you as we talk a viticultural 'stroll' through some of the most beautiful vineyards, producing the most beautiful wines, in the whole of Italy!
Six wines on tasting will show you:
- Different vintages to taste how Nebbiolo ages, both from Barolo & Barbaresco
- Different indigenous grapes from the multitude of sub zones and soil types
Your tasting will include: tasting samples of six carefully selected wines, tasting samples of Italian cheeses, wine notes & handouts and a 2 hour interactive presentation.
