Seven Wines to Taste
Wines from Luxembourg, everyone will be drinking it next year, getting ahead of the game ;-)
Paul is heading to Luxembourg - he’s been going for a few years now, so knows what’s what and which wines are deeee-lish-ous! He’s bringing back seven different new wines for you to taste.
- Two Sparkling wines, called Crémant - local grape blends compared with the traditional blends.
- A new grape for many, Auxerrois - Luxembourg is one of the few places this grape is grown.
- A Pinot Gris or Pinot Blanc – Paul will decide which one is better – that means, more tasting – a tough job - haha.
- Two Riesling from different areas - different vineyards and aspects for comparison.
- A sweetie to finish, a later harvest Gewurztraminer – we love this grape, think Turkish Delight!
A bit about the trip - on the weekend of Pentecost, wine growers, wineries, distilleries, museums and nature conservation centres invite you to spend a wine weekend in their cellars, gardens and terraces. Luxembourg's largest wine festival along the entire Moselle region is an absolute must for every wine lover. Wine tourism at its best!
