Event Description

The week an Italian Wine Tasting vs the same grape or similar styles from the New World Countries of Australia, New Zealand and USA. But which will you prefer?

Two Sparkling RED Wines, Two White Wines and Two Red Wines

Have you ever had sparkling red wine? Lambrusco (NO - this is not Lambrini!) is just a delicious Italian Red Fizzy wine. A must try if you haven't already. We'll be tasting this next to a Sparkling Shiraz.

We've all heard of Pinot Grigio, we have a lovely one in the line up for you to taste. Then we'll ask you to taste a New Zealand Pinot Gris. The Kiwis have mastered this aromatic grape varieties! Its the same grape but grown in different countries.

Finishing on a big, juicy bold Primitivo from Puglia in Southern Italy where the sun shines for so many hours and the grapes get really ripe. Tasting this next to an American Zinfandel. Its the same grape but the American style might suit your wine palate - you decide!
