On this fascinating course we will compare wines made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah/Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and oher grapes.
We'll sample the classic French versions and compare them blind with New World countries like Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, South Africa and USA.
You will learn the basics about the different grape varieties and how to taste wine like a professional. No previous experience is necessary.
Plus - watch and learn how to open a bottle of sparkling wine using a sword!
Halfway through the day we will take a break from the hard work of tasting wine to enjoy a delicious two-course lunch followed by a mini tour of the college to appreciate its history.
