Event Description

The Old World goes head to head with the New World in this tasting exploring the best wines from around the globe.

But who will win?

Join us for a fun evening of pairing classic Old World wines with rule-breaking New World wines. Some people may already have a preference between the two and others are happy as long as the wine is good!

Your line-up may vary, but battles which have previously been fought include:

  • Loire Sauvignon Blanc VS New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc
  • Northern Rhone Syrah VZ Aussie Shiraz
  • Bordeaux VS New World Bordeaux Blend
  • Italian Primitivo VS Californian Zinfandel

Your tasting will include:

  • Six carefully selected wines from both Old World and New World
  • 2-hour tutored tasting with tasting notes

It’s the perfect excuse for beginners and seasoned wine tasters alike to decide whether you favour the Classic Old World or the Brave New World!
